The Parc Animalier d'Introd is the first and only wildlife park in the Aosta Valley, a natural oasis spanning approximately 40.000 square meters where you can enjoy an unforgettable experience immersed in Alpine flora and fauna. In this authentic mountain environment, adults and children alike can observe typical Alpine animals up close.
A true outdoor nature lesson awaits you. Along a circular trail that takes about an hour and a half to complete, you can admire numerous animal species in their natural habitat. Among the park's residents are ibex, chamois, deer, marmots, foxes, badgers, squirrels, wild boars, and even a pair of wolves. The park is also home to several species of birds of prey, such as the golden eagle, eagle owl, tawny owl, and barn owl. Two lakes provide shelter for fish such as brown trout and Arctic char.
Not just fauna: the park also offers an opportunity to get up close and personal with Alpine flora. Along the trail, information panels illustrate the characteristics of the animals and plants present, enriching the visit with valuable information. The names of animals and plants are given in Italian, French, English, and Val d'Aosta dialect.
The Parc Animalier d'Introd is the ideal destination for families and nature lovers. The park is open daily from 9:30 am to 18:00 pm. To fully enjoy the experience, we recommend arriving by 16:00 pm. Inside, you'll find a picnic area and a playground for children.
