The holiday apartments of Bonclerici House are in Cagli, in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, in the north of the Marche. In all seasons of the year you can visit the most famous cities of art, such as Gubbio (Umbria) and Urbino, half an hour away by car, or take nature walks in the mountains surrounding Cagli and in the Riserva Naturale della Gola del Furlo, where excursions and visits for families are organised on weekends.
The two apartments are called Garden and Square and are in the historic Bonclerici palace, which takes its name from the family of Guido Bonclerici who was secretary of Duke Federico da Montefeltro of Urbino and then bishop of Cagli, at the end of the fifteenth century.
The Garden apartment, on the garden floor, consists of a double bedroom, living room with TV, full kitchen and bathroom with shower. The children can sleep on a double sofa bed that opens into the living room, very comfortable. From the living room and the bedroom you can directly access the half of the garden reserved for guests of the apartment. The main entrance is directly from the street.
The Square apartment, upstairs and also with independent access from the street, consists of two bedrooms, bathroom with shower in the sleeping area, living room with TV, full kitchen and bathroom without shower in the living area. Guests of the apartment have access to another half of the garden of the structure, which they access through a side gate.
The holiday that Bonclerici House offers is certainly a family holiday, relaxing and quiet. The apartments are in the historic center of Cagli, a small town on a human scale where tourism is never mass tourism, 100 meters from the main square and the most beautiful streets where there are also bars and restaurants and shops for the needs of the family and children (groceries, pharmacies, clothing, etc.). All the services, shops and bars and restaurants of the town, as well as the places of art - the Torrione with the tunnel, symbol of the city, the theater, the churches that alone are worth a trip - can be easily reached on foot from the apartments.

A holiday in Cagli is for all seasons. In summer it is very nice to bathe in the rivers around Cagli, mountain streams with clean water that flow through the rocks, also suitable for children, in an uncontaminated environment. Even the walks in the mountains around Cagli and in the Gola del Furlo Nature Reserve are very suitable for families with children. In winter you can also go up to the mountains to ski on Mount Catria and Mount Nerone, equipped with slopes and facilities.
For example, you can visit Urbino (30 km) and Gubbio (26 km) or the Frasassi Caves (40 km). The Furlo Gorge Nature Reserve, with a free-entry museum displaying all the animal species that inhabit it, is 10 km from the apartments. On the mountains around Cagli, Mount Catria and Mount Nerone, you can encounter free-roaming horses and wild animals. On the Via Flaminia, the consular road built by the ancient Romans that connected Rome to Rimini, it is still possible to visit bridges and tunnels in Cagli and the immediate vicinity that are intact after two thousand years, on a route that can also be enjoyed on foot or by bicycle, as vehicle traffic is diverted to the nearby highways.
