Welcome TO MY EDUCATIONAL farm.
We are located in Umbria and more precisely in Montone in the province of Perugia, immersed in the green valley of the Carpina torrent.
Mielisa is my young educational farm, full of hope for an agriculture that respects the environment and enhances the territory.
We offer courses and workshops for children and adults, suitable for both schools and families who want to visit the educational farms of the region. We have agreements with the best accommodation facilities in the Upper Tiber Valley to ensure that both adults and children have an unforgettable holiday. The Mielisa Farm is a true educational farm certified by the Umbria Region.
With us, children are the protagonists: everything is child-friendly.
The courses are designed based on the different needs that arise and are requested, both for schools and for families.
In addition to the workshops, sensory activities, drawings and manual games are also organised.
The spaces are designed to make every single corner of the farm accessible to children: the opportunity to see the animals up close, to build the vegetable garden, to see the beehive in the classroom, to bring food to the alpacas and to visit the farm museum, learning how people lived in the countryside at the beginning of the 1900s.
Mielisa's garden offers the possibility of organizing packed lunches to spend all together in the shade of large, centuries-old trees.
The two large classrooms on the farm will allow for multimedia activities and the possibility of holding lessons indoors in case of bad weather.
