Let us introduce you to our farm.
We'll introduce you to our facilities, where we organize a wide range of activities, the animals, and the endless opportunities to spend peaceful moments in a friendly and welcoming environment, engaged in truly enjoyable and interesting activities, whatever your age or fitness level.
The Farm is open to everyone year-round, offering the opportunity to discover how nature changes with the changing seasons.
It will be a pleasure for us to welcome you in person at Podere San Girolamo.
We look forward to seeing you there!
At the Farm the kids have fun and learn about all aspects of life in the countryside, without forgetting a pinch of humor.
Farm animals
The farm raises geese and ducks, as well as horses and bees, but there are also domestic animals, who quietly reign supreme, wandering here and there undisturbed.
Horse riding for everyone
But for everyone, whether they are already experienced riders or need to take their first steps, whether they are trained athletes or need help getting on a horse.
Our animals, structures and equipment combine with the expertise of specialized staff.
We'll accompany you in discovering the world of horses: an ethological approach and the possibility of riding and/or horseback riding on the farm.
We also deal with equestrian rehabilitation at different levels and in different fields.
From bees to honey
Let's get to know these industrious little animals.
Contrary to what sensationalist films would have us believe, bees are not dangerous at all.
They have a very interesting ethology, a complex and highly organized society, and are capable of producing very useful substances that are almost miraculous: wax, honey, propolis.
At the farm we demonstrate the processing of honey, from the collection of the frames to the honey extraction (with tasting!), The making of candles, the preparation of simple honey-based sweets.
What grain are you? Processing of different flours and creation of tasty traditional dishes (pasta, bread, etc.).
From milk to cheese: how to make rovaggiolo, cheese and ricotta; tasting and creation of tasty dishes.
In addition ... path of medicinal plants, the forest and its inhabitants, trekking on foot with donkeys, visits to geothermal fields and nature reserves ...
and... Many other activities
Difficult to draw up the list of things you can do and see on our farm, it would be too long.
Also, if you have any special requests, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Those reported are just some of the proposals we have formulated to respond to everyone's interests.
The farm isn't very big but it's well-kept. Valentina and Massimo are very kind. The rooms are simple but spotlessly clean. The food: for breakfast, I recommend their jams and honey. Dinner is simple, all homemade and delicious. For children and adults alike! A great experience.
For those of us who love to find what we're looking for, Valentina's Farm lived up to our expectations. Their passion for all things authentic, combined with the friendly, family atmosphere (not lacking in professionalism), made us feel part of the farm.
We stayed for 2 nights at the farm from Valentina and enjoyed it very much! Although the weather was not on our side, we were able to make the rounds of all the animals that our baby really liked! He still remembers the Tuft bunny !!! Friendly and sociable people! Recommended!!!
We stayed with Valentina and her wonderful family in mid-April 2014. We had a wonderful time in this simple and very welcoming property. The educational activities for children with the farm animals are fun and informative. Recommended for those looking for a secluded place surrounded by greenery.
Hi everyone, I stayed at Valentina's farm from March 7th to 9th. My 17-month-old son, a friend of mine, and her 2-year-old daughter were there. We had a wonderful time; the place is beautiful and surrounded by greenery. The kids had a great time. We felt at home and we recommend everyone to visit the farm.
