Metina is a small family-run farmhouse located in the green Tuscan hills, between Valdichiana and Val d'Orcia.
Although located in the open countryside, far from the dangers and noises of the city, Metina is just 2 km from the nearest town, equipped with shops and a supermarket and only 7 km from Montepulciano.
Its central location allows you to quickly reach some of the most beautiful villages in Tuscany and Umbria.
We offer a NIGHT-ONLY formula in practical independent apartments, all consisting of one or two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower, living room and equipped kitchen.
Inside the large garden, completely fenced for the safety of the little ones, you will find a large swimming pool with a view, a beautiful terrace and a barbecue at your disposal.
At Metina, children can imagine a thousand adventures in the large garden, reinventing their favorite characters, climbing and conquering the high peaks of our playground (small for us, but not for them!), imagining flying over the hills on the swing or the rope ladder and, tireless as only children can be, going down the magical yellow slide a thousand times.
The entrance ramp to the pool is also very popular and is the scene of a thousand adventures involving dolphins or large mysterious flags. More than one child has learned to swim with us, proudly bringing home a special medal.
And anyone who wants to venture out for a walk in the countryside that surrounds us might be lucky enough to encounter roe deer, hares, pheasants and many other little friends.
Since we only have apartments, children staying with their parents and sleeping in existing beds do not pay any supplement.
Upon request and subject to availability: folding cot or crib for a fee.

We stayed 7 days with a child and a dog. The structure is very well maintained and the apartments are very comfortable. The owners Monica and Alberto are always available and kind for anything you need. In the surroundings there are many things to visit and many places where you can eat and very well. During the night there is a lot of silence. I highly recommend it.
Ideal structure for those with children. Contact with nature and animals, many nearby places to visit and baby friendly welcome. I have been there with my daughter more than once: fun and relaxation guaranteed for both of us!
