The hotel, built immediately after the war as a typical Swiss chalet, has recently undergone a complete yet careful renovation: the requirements for computerization, maximum security and soundproofing have not compromised either its uniqueness or its aesthetics.
All the wood (used for the roof, floors, internal and external cladding, furnishings and internal fixtures) was recovered from the pre-existing hotel or from ancient Alpine residences, as were the stones of the walls, internal and external flooring, internal walls and stairs.
