You can go down to the beach, on the lawn and sand, with a lifeguard, or take a walk in nature: easy trekking routes start behind Casa and Vela.
Welcome drink on the beach, on the terrace of our Rist� Bar Hemingway, and nautical rental activities with motorboats without a boating license, pedal boats, canoes and stand up paddle.
Children are welcome: baby bed, high chair and stroller available upon request and advance booking.
Safety jackets, in case of boat rental, even for the little ones.
The apartments have a terrace with lake view, kitchen equipped with electric hobs and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, telephone, flat screen TV, safe, armored door. Free Wifi. Car parking reserved for guests. Wine shop with a selection of wines, at a discounted price for guests.
The Residence has a Reception and is open all year round.
From April to September a welcoming Bar-Restaurant is open on the beach with the possibility of breakfast, lunch and dinner, also with take away service.
We also offer a breakfast menu reserved only for children: baby breakfast, ask us for information.
Upon reservation, you can request the collaboration of a babysitter, an external paid service.
In front of the residence there is the bus stop for Verbania or the other direction.
A few minutes walk from the Casa e Vela residence you can reach the town center, which offers a minimarket with fresh bread, newsagent, pharmacy, children's playground, hairdresser's shop, post office, as well as a couple of bars and restaurant/pizzeria. In the square the church and the town hall.
The minimarket offers a shopping delivery service here, by telephone booking.
With the Navigazione Laghi boats you can organize a pleasant trip to the Borromean Islands and Stresa;
In 20 minutes by car from Casa e Vela you can reach the border with Switzerland to visit Ascona, Locarno and a little further (an hour away) Lugano.

Without having to travel long distances and to enjoy the lake with your family, right in front of the residence there is a beach available for our guests, equipped with comfortable sun loungers, umbrellas, outdoor shower and toilets; the beach is supervised by qualified lifeguards.
From our beach you can enter the clean waters of Lake Maggiore (Cannero and Cannobio, towns close to us have been awarded the "Bandiera Blu" for years, the certification of environmental quality, valid eco-labels for coastal towns); the water of the lake in front of our beach is not deep and degrades slowly, therefore it allows you to enter on foot and play with your children on the shore of the lake,
We also offer activities such as pedal boat rental with and without slide, which are very popular with our little guests, as well as canoes, kayaks and motor boats, which adults can drive without a boating license to discover the beauty of the lake with their children. When renting motor boats, we will provide the little ones with Small and Extra Small life jackets. Our motorboats are complete with a large awning for the sun, a ladder to enter the water and sunbathing cushions.
